The appropriate Stone Wool Prefabricated Pipe is selected based on the nominal diameter of the pipeline to be insulated. It is installed along the pipeline by opening the longitudinal cut.

The installation is completed ensuring there are no gaps left between the joints. Unfaced pipes are covered with bituminous emulsion, bituminous membranes, galvanized steel, or aluminum jackets for additional protection.
