About Iran glass wool company

Iran glass wool company (public shares) is the first and largest producer of heat and sound insulation and the first producer of prefabricated moisture insulation under the brand name Izogam in Iran. After the establishment of the company, its first factory was opened in Tehran in 1967with the aim of producing glass wool based on the Tel process and using the technical knowledge of the French Saint-Gobain company and Owners Corning of the United States and marketed its products under the brand name of Izoran. The initial production capacity of the factory was two tons per day, which increased to ten tons after a while, and following the growth of demand in the country, a new factory with a capacity of thirty tons of glass wool per day was built in Shiraz city. Simultaneously with this development, the mass production of pre-fabricated moisture insulation, which was started for the first time in the country in 1971 in the Tehran factory of this company under the trade name Izogam, continued with an increase in capacity of about 6 million square meters per year in the Shiraz factory.
